Android is the latest mobile operating system very much popular in today’s mobile market. Configuring email setting in android phone is also very similar other phone. Just follow steps mentioned below and get your phone ready for easy and continuous email connection.

>Accounts >New Account
When you reach to the New Account option then choose EMAIL. Then you need to fill up the email address including with password for email authentication. After filling up the email id and password just uncheck the checkbox of configure email account automatically. This is important so don’t ignore it.
Now come to the General Setting of the android phone
- In general setting there is an option named ACOUNT NAME (ex: dave Email)
- Now move to Real Name: type your email address here (ex: you@yourcompany.com)
- Then Option of Email Address appears in which you have to type email address again (ex:you@yourcompany.com)
- Then Click to OK button
Now there is need of Incoming Mail Server configuration. Select incoming server option from the android phone and then option of POP MAIL SERVER option appears just tap it where it tells and then choose IMAP MAIL SERVER. After finalizing these steps just enter the details of your connection that is ..
- Sever: mail [specify_domain].com (ex: mail.arvixe.com)
- Port: 143 (Port no. can also be found at webmail under settings)
- Username: type your email address here
- Password: type correct password for successful email authentication
- Now you need to uncheck the option of “use secure connection” and “verify certificate” checkbox.
- Then Click OK
After configuring incoming server you need to configure the Outgoing Server which is as follows: -
- Server: mail.[specify_domian].com
- Port: 25 (Port no. can also be found at webmail under settings)
Now username and password is need to be filled same like incoming server and finally hit to OK button. You are done. Now the android phone is configured for emailing services.
